Pumas TCC Albion SC gewinnt eine Reise nach Schweden nach ihrem Sieg bei Disneys U16 vElite-Turnier.

This past July, the Albion SC Girls U16 team competed in PUMA’s vElite bracket at Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex and took home the title, not only gaining them access to Disney’s premier Showcase event in December, but also, winning them an all-expense paid trip to Sweden to train with PUMA club Umea IK.
This Albion team is a special one and according to Coach Kooiman, "we trained three days a week for the PUMA vElite tournament. It was also important to have my team arrive a few days early to Orlando so we could acclimate to the humidity." Onsite at Disney, the Albion girls played against some great competition including Top Hat, Spacecoast, Florida Crush & Craze, Lakeland and Strickley Soccer. Noah Gins, Technical Director for Albion Soccer Club stated, "to have PUMA send our Albion SC players to Sweden was yet another amazing perk of being with PUMA." The Albion team met coaches, players and had the opportunity to train with the Umea IK A-team. Other activities during the trip included sightseeing, white water rafting and scrimmage against the Umea U-17 team. This is not the first Albion SC team to travel abroad. Within the past three years, PUMA has sent two other Albion champion teams to England and Portugal to train with professional clubs Tottenham and Sporting. In addition, Albion's boys team won the vElite bracket at Disney as well and will be headed overseas to train and play with Newcastle United in December.
